Terms of Service / Cancellation Policy

Space for participants on our course is limited. Please keep our companies course cancellation policy regarding refund and transfer of course fees in mind when booking course seats. Once you have received confirmation of your seat on a training course you will be liable for the entire course fee unless written notice of cancellation is received. Course fees will be refunded as follows:

• Participants who cancel two or more weeks before the course date will receive a 75% refund.
  • The cost of precourse materials already shipped or delivered will be deducted from the total refund.
  • Participant may also choose to transfer to a course being offered at a later date
    • Participant may only transfer once.
    • No refund will be given if the participant cancels on the new course, no matter what notice of cancellation is given
    • There may also be an additional charge for updated resource material if the course manual has been updated.
• Participants who do not cancel in writing two weeks prior to the course will NOT receive a refund except in exceptional circumstances and then only at the discretion of Advanced EMS and the course coordinator.
  • Transfers to a future course may be considered, with an additional charge of a 25% administration fee.
    • If it is decided that a transfer will be allowed
      • A participant may only transfer once.
      • There will be no refund given if the participant cancels on the transferred course, no matter what notice of cancellation is given.
      • There may also be an additional charge for updated resource material if the course manual has been updated.
• No refund will be issued for non-attendance!

In the event of cancellation or rescheduling of a course by Advanced EMS, every attempt will be made to inform the course participants two weeks before the course start date. However, this may not always be possible due to unforeseen circumstances. In these circumstances, the participant may request a full refund for the cost of the course. However, we will not be liable for reimbursement of costs related to course attendance including but not limited to airline tickets and accommodations.
